Our Peer Writing Consultants

Year: Senior

Major: Biology

Hometown: Long Beach, CA

I became a Peer Writing Consultant because I thought it’d be cool to interact with my peers and to offer techniques to help them get through whatever obstacle they’re facing in writing. Because of the Writing Studio, I’ve been able to learn new things from my peers and their writing, which makes my job much more worthwhile.

I wanted to be a Peer Writing Consultant because I love working with people. I’ve been in several other similar positions and working with my peers on writing is one of my absolute favorite things. I someday hope to be a composition and creative writing professor.
