Hello, my name is Haley Fisher,

I am a Forestry major here at Cal Poly Humboldt with a concentration in soils. I am a new hire in the Learning Center as a Peer Academic Coach. I look forward to working with a diverse range of students this semester and helping them achieve their goals. As a STEM major, I understand how overwhelming the college course load can be. I believe everyone can access their highest academic potential through access to proper resources and some helpful guidance along the way. It is my goal to help students find new and innovative methods for time management, studying, organizational skills, and familiarize them with our campus resources. I look forward to a great semester!

Many of my hobbies include nature-based activities. I am a very physically active individual who spends most weekends running through the marsh and on the trails throughout Humboldt's amazing redwoods. Some other hobbies of mine include birding, hiking, spending time with friends, finding new music, and trying new foods. I am a very outgoing individual who loves to fill my free time expressing myself in these ways.
