The Learning Center employs nearly 100 student employees every semester from a broad range of majors and backgrounds. Most of our student employees are Instructional Student Assistants (ISA) that support the academic success of other Humboldt students through their roles as Tutors, Supplemental Instruction Leaders, Writing Consultants, and Academic Peer Coaches. We also employ around 10 student assistants who staff our front desk, help direct students to Learning Center Resources, and answer questions visitors have.
