Michele Miyamoto is the Coordinator of the Tutoring and Academic Coaching Programs. She also currently serves as staff Senator. Michele has served as an equity advocate, the tutorial coordinator for the EOP/SSS program and taught College Skills courses for EOP/SSS freshmen for several years. Michele earned her MA, Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction as well as her BFA in Studio Arts with a minor in Gender Studies from Vermont State University at Johnson. Michele also holds a certificate of College Teaching and Learning in Hispanic-Serving Institutions from ESCALA Educational Services.  Michele has been a member of the Humboldt Learning Center team since 2010.
