Why I became a consultant:

I originally used the writing center to help me with my grad school applications, here at Humboldt. It was immensely helpful, so I went back when I was writing my proposal for my senior thesis during my undergrad in wildlife. I think the writing studio is an important part of our campus and I wanted to help my fellow students with their work!
